Contrary to Dr. Rieff's theory, the church is not needed to preach the culture of the day. Modern culture will preach itself. Nor does our culture need the church if the church does not preach the cross.
Not only that, but if we (as preachers or as the church) are silent, the very stones will cry out...to praise...to preach...
